Housewatch has been providing security visits and property maintenance to absentee landowners since 1995. Serving hundreds of landowners - from Lost River to French Creek - our experienced staff will take the stress out of owning your vacation home. Derek Van Marter and Nicole Ringgold, and their beautiful daughter Cymone, moved to the valley in 2006. Derek has a Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Washington. Nicole has a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology and Art Therapy. She is currently a jewelry artist with a studio in Winthrop. Her creations can be found online at www.nicoleringgold.com.

Together, they have built, owned and cared for many homes. They met 25 years ago as Peace Corps Volunteers in Niger, West Africa. Derek and Nicole know how precious a home is, having lost their own home in the 2014 Carlton Complex wildfires.
